Printagraph will be sad to say goodbye to Ian Parks who is taking retirement in March 08. Best Wishes to Ian for a very happy retirement. Printagraph have moved in to their new premises at Hillview Road in East Tullos after 20 years at Berryden. The new building is unrecognisable to what was only a few months ago. A major refurbishment is now complete and there is plenty of space to accomodate recent major investment in plant.
Neil Stewart has been appointed Chairman of Jasmine Holdings following the death of George Cowie. Danny Cowie is now a Director and Sheila Cowie (George's wife) is now the Charity Convenor. Sheila will be trying to raise as much as possible throughout the year for local Cancer Charities.
Aiken Group have successfully moved from Waterloo Quay to their new Warehouse / Office complex at Crombie Road in Torry. The office tower block provides over 20,000 sqft of high spec offices and boasts beutiful views over Aberdeen Harbour and City. The Warehouses below offer almost 30,000 sqft. The new £1.7m complex will be vital as the company continues its sustained period of growth.
James Aiken Sheetmetal celebrated 30 years in Business with a family open day on Saturday 31st March at their premises in York Place. There were Limo rides on offer for the kids (and some adults!) as well as a BBQ, Disco, Magician, Clown and Bouncy Castle. The day was a great success and was attended by over 250 people.
